We are currently looking to grow our talent pool for Groom Artists to help deal with the demand of our new projects!

The requirements of a Groom Artist can vary from project to project therefore we are always open to seeing people with different experience and backgrounds.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Professional experience making hair card or Xgen assets for games with a portfolio showing examples of work.
  • If a card artist, a strong understanding of how to create card textures for different styles of hair.
  • Adaptability to use in house tools place hair cards and create textures.
  • A clear understanding of hair styles including clumping, flow, fly aways and density.
  • Understanding of how to create hair caps if required for a project.
  • Experience in creating volume guides that can be used as a point of reference.
  • Experience working with relevant software such as: Maya, Blender, Zbrush, Photoshop.
  • Experience working with Realtime engines such as Unreal and Unity.
  • Strong English communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Must show an understanding of organization within filing structures to ensure that files remain well maintained when sharing with clients and other artists.

 Requirements:

  • Professional experience making hair card or Xgen assets for games with a portfolio showing examples of work.
  • Experience working with relevant software such as: Maya, Blender, Zbrush, Photoshop.
  • Experience working with Realtime engines such as Unreal and Unity.
  • Strong English communication skill both written and verbal.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with Houdini and Marvelous Designer is a plus.
  • Experience with rigging and animation is preferred, but not required.
